Sending private messages (or pms, as we call them), is fast and fun. It's easy to do and no one sees the messages but the person you're sending to and you. It's a great way for you to quickly connect with your friends on the HomeEducator LinkUp.

 When you log into the HomeEducator LinkUp, click on the "my linkup" tab. Then click on the "private messages" tab. Click "compose" and you're ready to compose a new message.

 Before composing your message, if you look to the right side of the page, you'll see a drop menu labeled "connections." This is the easiest way to enter the names of the people you want to send a private message to. Just click the drop menu, choose a name from the list, and click on it. The name is added to the "to:" field on the private message. You can add as many names as you want to this message. Just keep clicking the drop menu and clicking the names of people you want to send a pm to.

Finally, compose the body of the message as you would a simple email. The system then acts like an internal emailing system, sending messages to people on the HomeEducator LinkUp with whom you have a connection.
