We're going to be working to create a truly amazing community for you here at the Home Educator LinkUp. As you tour through the site, add links and post to forums. If you decide to become a registered user you will be able to use even more of the site. Groups, blogging, private messaging, meeting new friends - all this is offered on one site especially for home education. Try it, it is free and we will always respect your privacy and never give out any of your information. We hope your whole family will enjoy using the site. Students can share on student boards, but parents can get on and see all that is going on. We are excited about the blackboard community coming for this fall. Your homeschool students can take online classes and share with other friends in forums what they are studying. They can even start study groups with other homeschooled students around the world. Parents can view their students progress and may even enjoy taking classes themselves. Some classes will be free, others will have a charge. This discretion is left up to the teacher. Some classes will be private for local homeschool co-op groups. Finally, to make this a true Community For Homeschooling, we would like to let you know this site is run by homeschoolers. Some of the funds generated from the site will be used to keep the site active and some of the funds will be donated to the Home School Foundation giving to homeschool families in need.
