A lot of people think home educators are pulling their kids out of school because they think public school teachers are spending too much time disciplining children to get much teaching done, and some do. A lot of people think home educators keep their kids at home for religious reasons, and some do. But some homeschool parents keep their kids at home just because they love teaching their children new things.

There's a great deal of pride and satisfaction watching your children learn new things and knowing you were the one that taught them. Parents love watching their children grow both physically and mentally, and home schooling gives them more chance than ever to do just that.
